Kate Francis is the author of young adult (YA) mystery thrillers. After graduating from Edinburgh University and University College London, she worked as an architect for several top design firms in London before trading in her heels for flip-flops and heading west. These days she lives with her family and crazy labradoodle by the beach in Santa Cruz, California. When she’s not building something, she enjoys staring vacantly at the sea, dog-wrangling, and crafting interesting ways to kill off fictional teenagers.
